It is the ideal place to discover the traditional Romanian rural life through a relaxing walk. The 10 km of alleys will walk you among authentic peasant households, workshops, wooden churches, trout, sheep, wineries, water, and windmills. The original interiors so well-preserved, you can instantly feel the simple life of Romanian peasants from all over the country, their occupations, and traditions. Beyond the wonderful rural universe, the museum also offers various recreational possibilities: boat trips, horse-drawn carriage and sleigh rides, a restaurant, accommodation, a tourist information center and playgrounds. The lush vegetation helps people breathe fresh air, but also ignore the usual bustle of the city for a few minutes or hours.
